Liquid Fast Secret
Over the years, I've really appreciated feeling amazing after fasting. But I've found it difficult to do often because of work and training. Through trial and error, I've stumbled upon that same experience of supercharged energy and clarity but from another approach that I can use while still training and working at a high level. I can tap into some serious upgrades by sticking to liquid food for a few meals or days.
On top of the recovery that liquid food gives my gut from mechanical digestion, many less optimal foods also disappear because they are simply not as inviting as liquids. Then, it has only felt natural to deliberately cut out any other ingredients which are not super clean.
What I've landed up with is somewhat like the most hypoallergenic eating plan I know, an Autoimmune Paleo Diet - not having any food which has been linked to sensitivities, allergies, inflammation and so on. So, no caffeine, dairy, gluten, alcohol, nuts, processed foods or additives. Only safe fruit and veggies, and some organic coconut milk to make juices, smoothies and soups.
The best part is:
I get a massive energy kick and mental clarity like I do after the more intense water fasts. But, with this, I don't limit my calories and I can keep on working and training at a high level. I am also quite sure that the massive boost comes from a whole-body reduction in inflammation, focused on the gut.
When I use this hack, I don't intermittent fast or limit carbohydrates or calories - I'm purely taking advantage of the clean and liquid healing properties. Intuitively, I also use it the moment I feel run down or potentially sick. It feels like medicine.
A good life depends on good health. Good health needs optimised nutrition. Our primary system of nutrition is our gut.
